With the departures of Benjamin \u0160e\u0161ko, Lo\u00efs Openda and Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig<\/a> have a new look attack for the 2025\/26 season. At the forefront of their revamped frontline in R\u00f4mulo<\/a>. The Brazilian, signed from G\u00f6ztepe for \u20ac20m, already has three goal contributions (two goals, one assist) in six Bundesliga <\/a>games, averaging a contribution every 159.6 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing alongside Johan Bakayoko, Yan Diomande and Antonio Nusa – two of which like R\u00f4mulo joined in the summer – the Brazilian referenced Timo Werner as a player who has helped him adapt to life in the Bundesliga. Leipzig\u2019s top scorer has 113 goals but hasn\u2019t had a look-in at the Saxony club for some time now, although he\u2019s still able to offer his assistance to his teammates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is R\u00f4mulo destined for the Brazil national team?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

R\u00f4mulo has already been linked with a call up to the Brazil national team, but it\u2019s currently not something that the 23-year-old is focused on. \u201cMy focus here is on Leipzig. If I do a good job here, maybe one day I\u2019ll be there soon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
