Union Berlin have confirmed a contract extension for starting goalkeeping Frederik R\u00f8nnow. The Bundesliga veteran has contested a total of 123 German top flight matches for Union, Eintracht Frankfurt, and FC Schalke 04.<\/p>\n
Since joining die Eisernen<\/em> in 2021, R\u00f8nnow has made 130 appearances for Union across all competitions. R\u00f8nnow’s has kept 29 clean sheets in 101 Bundesliga appearances for his current club. Terms of R\u00f8nnow’s new contract were not divulged.<\/p>\n R\u00f8nnow received some company this summer when his club opted to bring in former Hamburger SV keeper Matheo Raab to facilitate competition in training camp.
